Nokia Lumia 520 is fitted with a 4-inch IPS LCD Multi-touch Display bearing resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 235 ppi. It is powered by Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1 GHz complemented by 512 MB of RAM for a smooth performance. The smartphone is loaded with Windows Phone 8 platform having Lumia Amber update bringing useful software features for camera and capability of playing FM Radio.
The Lumia 520 gets a 5 MP Rear camera with Autofocus, Exposure Compensation, Touch to Focus, ISO Control, Geo-Tagging and Panorama features. Nokia Lumia 520 is a promising smartphone that has got a super-sensitive display screen running on Windows Phone 8 platform. The affordable pricing provides compelling evidence that having a powerful smartphone does not need the buyer to burn a hole in his/her pocket. With the great value for money the device offers, we surely expect it to give a tough competition to the other devices with Android Operating system in this range.
Nokia has introduced a successor to Lumia 520 dubbed as Lumia 525, which features more RAM (1 GB) and newer software firmware (Lumia Black).
